About Us
Carrie had a life long passion for coastal conservation.
She learned it, lived it, and shared it with all who would listen.
We aim to help protect and preserve coastal environments through stewardship activities,
fundraising, and educational outings in memory of Carrie McCullough
through the Tybee Marine Science Center..
Carrie kept constant her belief in conservation by doing everyday things
to help preserve coastal areas, and by
encouraging everyone she came in contact with to participate in this effort.
Tybee was the place she concentrated her efforts and the
Tybee Island Marine Science Center
is the place with a mission
"to cultivate a responsible stewardship of coastal Georgia's
natural resources through education, conservation, and research."
